FRANTIC FOLLIES

I WANTED TO GO TO ONE OF THESE VAUDEVILLE SHOWS.  SO ROBERT AND I GOT TICKETS TO THE "FRANTIC FOLLIES".  IT HAS BEEN PLAYING FOR 42 YEARS.  ONE OF THESE GUYS HAS BEEN WITH IT FOR 23 YEARS.  HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MANY PICS I TOOK.

THEY DID A LOT OF ROBERT STEVENS POETRY.  IT WAS EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING.

WE ARE LEAVING EARLY TOMORROW MORNING AND HEADING TO WATSON LAKE AND LAIRD HOT SPRINGS  IT'S ABOUT ANOTHER 400 MILES.  TALK TO  YOU WHEN I CAN.

NEXT WE WENT OVER TO THE "BERINGIA INTERPRETIVE CENTER".  BERINGIA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A LAND MASS THAT ONCE LINKED WHAT IS NOW RUSSIA AND ALASKA.  THEY TALKED ABOUT HOW THE MINERS FOUND ALL THESE MAMMOTH AND PREHISTORIC ANIMAL BONES.

BAD HIGHWAY

ONCE AGAIN WE HAD TO GO OVER THE HORRIBLE HIGHWAY OUT OF ALASKA.  ROBERT DROVE 400 MILES.  THE ROAD WAS SO BAD WITH FROST HEAVES HE HAD TO DRIVE ALL OVER THE ROAD JUST TO MISS THE HOLES AND BUMPS.  JEFF AND S CROW FOLLOWED.

THE ROAD WAS SO BAD AT ONE POINT THAT THE MOTOR HOME CAUGHT AIR UNDER ALL 4 TIRES......SO DID MY ASS!  ON TOP OF THAT "WE"  DECIDED THAT I SHOULD COOK SPEGHETTI WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD.  THAT WAS INTERESTING.  AT ONE INSTANCE I WAS HOLDING THE POT OF BOILING WATER FROM BOUNCING OFF THE STOVE WITH ONE HAND AND BUTTERING THE HOT FRENCH BREAD WITH THE OTHER.  I NEED COMBAT PAY FOR THIS.  THEN WE CAME UPON THIS HERD OF ELK.

WE ARRIVED IN WHITEHORSE YUKON AROUND 10PM.  WE ALL NEEDED TO DO LAUNDRY AND I WANTED DO SOME TOURISTY STUFF SO WE DECIDED TO STAY ONE MORE NIGHT.  ROBERT AND I WENT TO THE TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM.

THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MACHINESTHAT HELPED SHAPE THIS COUNTRY.

LAST DAY AT DEEP CREEK

OKAY. TOMORROW IS REALLY THE LAST DAY AT DEEP CREEK.  ROBERT FOLDED BOB'S LAUNDRY AND IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM HE FOUND A PAIR OF PINJ PANTYS.  ROBERT , KATIE AND I DECIDED TO PLAY A JOKE ON HIM.. I WROTE " THANKS DIRTY OLD MAN GOTCHA. LOVE AND KISSES KITTY MAY".  AND KATIE AND ROBERT SIGNED IT.  WE SPRAYED PERFUME ON IT AND STUCK THEM IN HIS POCKET.  I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIS FACE WHEN HE PUTS ON THAT SHIRT.

THE MORNING WE LEFT ROBERT GOT TO GO FISHING ONE MORE TIME.. HE CAUGHT AN 82 POUND HALIBUT AND A 42 POUND HALIBUT.  GOOD FISHING.  WOW!  NOW THE FREEZER REALLY IS FULL.  AFTER WE PROCESS THE FISH WE HEAD BACK TO GERRY'S.  ON THE WAY A LADY IS STANDING IN THE ROAD SO ROBERT PULLS OVER TO SEE IF HE COULD HELP.  SHE WAS OUT OF GAS.  SHE SAID SHE WAS HEADED FOR NINILCHIK WITH A DISABLED VET AND SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANY MONEY BUT HE HAD MONEY WAITING FOR HIM IN NINILCHIK.  ALL WE HAD WAS A GALLON OF GAS.  THAT'S NOT GOING TO GET HER THERE BUT IT WILL AT LEAST GET HER TO A GAS STATION.

FUR COAT

OKAY IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! I AM A SPOILED LITTLE BITCH.  WE WENT INTO THIS LITTLE FISHING VILLAGE CALLED NINILCHIK VILLAGE.  ROBERT BOUGHT ME THIS GORGEOUS  MINK AND FOX COAT.  IT FITS LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR ME.

MOM AND JORDAN WENT BACK WITH GERRY AND DOUG.  WE WENT DOWN TO THE BEACH AND TO FLY K.K. "KILLER KITE"  SHE IS 78 INCHES TALL.  WE DECIDED TO LAUNCH HER WITH A FISHING POLE WITH 120 POUND BRAIDED LINE.  WE PUT HER UP ABOUT 300 FEET IN THE AIR.  THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE.  IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO REEL IT BACK IN.  ROBERT HAD TO WALK IT BACK DOWN HAD OVER HAND TIL IT CRASHED.
